Levelling-up Victoria's Film & Game Workforce
CG Spectrum is thrilled to announce the launch of the GameChanger Academy, backed by the Victorian Government and delivered in partnership with VicScreen, to improve educational pathways within the animation, VFX, and digital games sectors.
The academy will offer a range of post-graduate courses and scholarships in partnership with leading Victorian studios to meet the demand for skilled graduates. Key programs include the Good to Great initiative for immediate workforce readiness, the Elevate program for upskilling current professionals, and over $500K of scholarships in CG Spectrum's accredited Bachelor's Degree programs.
In collaboration with industry leaders, the academy aims to create a dynamic learning ecosystem that prepares the next generation of industry leaders while enhancing the skills of existing professionals.
GameChanger Scholarships
GameChanger Scholarships are an exclusive opportunity for Victorian residents, made possible through a partnership between CG Spectrum, VicScreen, and the Victorian Government.

Excellence, Diversity and Equity Bachelor Scholarships
Eligibility: Residents of Victoria, Australia
These scholarships are an investment in the next wave of creative professionals. They recognise talent, promote diverse voices, and support equitable access to education in animation, VFX, game development, and digital art.
A bachelor-level scholarship designed for aspiring artists, recipients access expert-led practical training to master their chosen discipline while developing essential theoretical, interpersonal, and industry-relevant skills.

Good to Great is a 12-week intensive industry-readiness program developed to prepare recent graduates, entry-level trainees, and junior talent for the demands of the film and games industry.
Students will be required to work under real-world studio conditions, adhering to professional schedules and engaging in critical processes such as rounds, dailies, client briefs, and feedback sessions—key elements of the daily operations in top studios.
