Scholarship Overview

GameChanger Academy's Good to Great Scholarships offer an intensive 12-week industry-readiness program designed to prepare recent graduates, entry-level trainees, and junior talent for the demands of the film and games industry.

This scholarship is designed for Victorian creatives who excelled in their film and game studies but may lack hands-on industry experience. It helps them transition from education to the professional world through rigorous industry training that sharpens their skills and builds confidence.

Scholarship holders will be required to work under real-world studio conditions, adhering to professional schedules and engaging in critical processes such as rounds, dailies, client briefs, and feedback sessions—key elements of the daily operations within top film and game studios.

What is it? This immersive program prepares students for the industry by replicating real studio workflows in a simulated or partner studio setting. Students engage in essential studio processes like rounds, dailies, client briefs, and feedback sessions and receive 50 hours of one-on-one mentoring.

How long does it take? 12 weeks full-time.

Who would benefit from enrolling? This program is for recent film and games graduates and junior talent who possess the right technical and creative skills to enter the industry but lack real-world studio experience.

Why do it? Become job-ready through hands-on training. By completion, participants will have gained valuable experience working within a studio environment, developed their networking skills, and built a strong portfolio—empowering them to step confidently into industry.
