We are delighted to announce that Nathaniel Mosemann, a graduate of the CG Spectrum Digital Compositing Foundations, has been offered a paid internship at the renowned VFX and animation studio Framestore!
Nathaniel will be interning at the New York studio starting in June. In a celebratory post on LinkedIn, Nathaniel shared his gratitude for the mentors who provided feedback and advice during his studies at CG Spectrum:
"I'd like to thank everyone who has helped me get to this point! This includes but is not limited to: Josh Parks, Dom Hellier, Sean Amlaner, Kathleen Ruffalo, Corrina Wilson — a lot of CG Spectrum mentors — and everyone else who has helped me out in some way. Thank you!"

The power of community
Nathan was not only supported by his assigned mentors — Josh Parks (Ready Player One, The Jungle Book, The Martian) for Foundations and Dominic Hellier (The Witches, Candyman, Spiderhead) for Essentials — but he also received broader support through CG Spectrum's vibrant community. The CGS community is a unique online space where mentors, students, and alumni congregate to offer and receive feedback, collaborate, share tips and tricks, improve their craft, and have fun. It's an excellent resource for students and graduates, both personally and professionally.
CG Spectrum's high job success rate
Nathaniel is in good company going into the industry — according to CGS Career Coach Holly Puckett, CG Spectrum's students currently have an 83% job success rate. This means gaining full-time or part-time employment relevant to their training and/or the industry after (or during) their studies.
It takes time, passion, and dedication to build the abilities that employers are looking for, even for an entry-level position. We are immensely proud when students like Nate achieve such success based on their goals." - Holly Puckett
Another student who recently landed their first job in the industry is 3D Animation course graduate Jess Choong. She starts as a Junior 3D Animator at Pixel Zoo Animation in the new year!

Jess has managed to successfully change careers three times, and her advice for creatives is to put in the hard work and never give up.
