Excellence, Diversity and Equity Bachelor Scholarships

Eligibility: Residents of Victoria, Australia 

These scholarships are an investment in the next wave of creative professionals. They recognise talent, promote diverse voices, and support equitable access to education in animation, VFX, game development, and digital art.

A bachelor-level scholarship designed for aspiring artists, recipients access expert-led practical training to master their chosen discipline while developing essential theoretical, interpersonal, and industry-relevant skills.

Good To Great Scholarships

Eligibility: Residents of Victoria, Australia

Scholarship holders gain access to our intensive industry-readiness program that prepares recent graduates, entry-level trainees, and junior talent for the demands of the film and games industry.

This scholarship is ideal for creatives who have excelled in their film and game studies but may lack real-world experience. It helps artists make the leap from education to industry through rigorous studio-simulated training that sharpens their skills and builds confidence.

CG Spectrum Scholarships

Endgame Scholarships are available to domestic and international creatives who demonstrate exceptional promise in their artistic and technical abilities. It's designed to support talented individuals who may face financial challenges in pursuing their education in film and games.

Through financial assistance, CG Spectrum aims to help aspiring creatives fully harness their potential in VFX, animation, digital art, game development, real-time 3D, or 3D visualization and carve a successful path into the industry.

Endgame Scholarship

Eligibility: Domestic and International 

CG Spectrum's completion scholarships are for emerging artists who may face financial barriers to pursuing their education. This includes recent high school graduates, entry-level trainees, and individuals transitioning into film and games.

Scholarship holders can focus more on their studies and less on their finances. This support gives them access to a specialised curriculum, expert mentorship, and career-related resources, helping to pave the way for industry success.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When do applications close?

Applications for the Excellence, Diversity, and Equity Bachelor, Good to Great, and Endgame Scholarships close on 14 November AEST.
Which scholarships are available for internationals?

CG Spectrum's Endgame Scholarship is open to domestic and international applicants. Learn more about the scholarship and eligibility here.
Can interstate people apply for the GameChanger Scholarships if they agree to move to Vic?

Yes, but you have to prove Victorian residency prior to applying.
Can former students apply for the Good to Great Scholarship Yes, but you must be based in Victoria and be able to prove Victorian residency upon application.
Can I apply for more than one scholarship? No, each student can only hold one scholarship at CGS. Students are also not eligible if they currently hold a scholarship from another institution.
Do I have to submit a video as part of my application?

Good to Great Scholarship:
A video submission is required.

Excellence, Diversity, and Equity Bachelor Scholarship and Endgame Scholarship:
Video responses are excellent ways to inject your personality into the application. However, we understand that some people are not comfortable with being on camera, and in this instance, you can submit a written response. We celebrate excellence, diversity, and inclusivity at CGS, so however you apply, make sure we see the real you in your application, whether that be video or written. 
How are scholarship recipients selected? There are criteria that will be followed to judge all applications.
Can I defer my scholarship if I’m not ready to start right away? Our Scholarships are based on full-time study unless alternative arrangements have been approved by the relevant Faculty Dean or Executive Dean. If approved, the total deferment period cannot exceed two trimesters.
What happens if I fail a subject or withdraw?

All Tuition Scholarship holders must maintain high levels of attendance and meaningful and ongoing engagement with the Scholarship course and its staff.

Full Scholarship holders in accredited courses must maintain satisfactory academic standards across all subjects of study. Receiving a 'fail' grade in any accredited subject may result in a review or termination of the Full Tuition Scholarship.
How can I increase my chances of being selected?

Scholarships are competitive so you want to stand out from the crowd. Be sure to make your application as convincing as possible to the panel. Show your passion and be yourself.
Who is judging the applications? The judging panel is made up of academic and administrative staff  including those with industry experience

Why a theme?

Can i use my own branding? You have a vast amount of color & styling options - Detailed options that allow you to control typography, color schemes and styles across all templates and many options to overwrite styles on a per module basis. Of course you can change the logo too.
How to get started? Once, you purchased our theme from the Hubspot marketplace, you will find all templates,  modules and assets in HubSpots design manager under the folder POWER. We highly recommend starting with our detailed documentation: read documentation.
