CG Spectrum is thrilled to announce that it will be offering a range of film and game scholarships designed to take emerging artists from education to industry! These scholarships are aimed at promoting excellence, diversity, and equity in the film and games industry.
Three types of scholarships will be available, including one from CG Spectrum and two from the new GameChanger Academy initiative.
Applications are now, with some programs commencing as early as November.
GameChanger Scholarships
In collaboration with VicScreen and the Victorian Government, CG Spectrum's GameChanger Academy is providing Victorian students with $1.85 million worth of scholarships.
These scholarships aim to empower aspiring creatives statewide by providing access to quality education and industry mentorship, helping them launch careers in film, animation, VFX, and game development.
These accredited Bachelor-level scholarships recognise outstanding talent, elevate diverse voices, and support equitable access to quality film and games education.
Scholarship holders will have the opportunity to master the tools and techniques of their chosen discipline and prepare for the industry over two years. Along with practical training, you will also develop vital theoretical and interpersonal skills and build an understanding of industry expectations and processes.
Designed for recent graduates and junior talent, these industry-readiness scholarships prepare you to step confidently into the industry with practical training that mirrors real-world studio demands.
Over 12 weeks, scholarship holders will get to work within the conditions, schedules, and expectations of an actual studio, including participation in rounds, dailies, client briefs, and feedback sessions. There is also an accredited Graduate Certificate for this program in the pipeline.
CG Spectrum Scholarships
CG Spectrum is offering partial scholarships to talented students who demonstrate strong dedication to their creative craft but face financial barriers to education. This opportunity is open to recent high school graduates, entry-level trainees, and individuals transitioning into animation, VFX, game development, and digital art.
Endgame Scholarship
These scholarships support creatives who demonstrate dedication and talent, helping them access an industry-focused education and mentorship to advance their careers in film and games.
With CG Spectrum's scholarships, aspiring creatives can focus more on their studies and less on their finances. This support gives them access to a specialized curriculum, expert mentorship, and career-related resources, paving the way for success in film and games.
